Brian spent his years in the consulting, finance and mortgage industries prior to joining forces with John to open Above Par Construction. One task always on his desk is to review estimates and make sure all necessary components are included in the project, to comply with building codes and project execution. Brian enjoys helping homeowners improve their home’s curb appeal and making friends along the way. When he’s not sitting with homeowners at their kitchen table picking out shingles, you can find him in one of two places: on a golf course or skiing in the mountains.

Before opening Above Par Construction with Brian, John acquired 24 years of experience in a variety of trades, apprenticing and honing his skills in the construction industry. His most valuable strength is his exceptional understanding of remodeling and renovations and how to execute any project. John holds an active IL & WI Roofing license and is a state of IL Licensed Public Adjuster, which enables him to advocate and speak on behalf of homeowners in terms of insurance restoration projects. It’s hard for John to not answer his phone but when he doesn’t, he’s most likely fishing, golfing or snowboarding – in remote locations of course!

Tim joined APC in 2017 and prior to that he spent the last 20 years in various trades perfecting his skills and understanding of the industry. Tim is our go-to guy in the field assessing damages, confirming measurements, providing inspections & estimates. When he isn’t working, you can find him with his family, remodeling his house or on a golf course. He also enjoys bowling and finding a rare gem at an antique shop.

Bobby has been with Above Par since 2016 with a primary focus in Public Relations and Marketing. Bob is very active in the McHenry Chamber of Commerce and in the field taking photos and speaking to homeowners about their projects. He is our behind-the-scenes social media accounts manager and coordinates the out of office events. Bob’s our little traveler, one of his favorite places is NOLA. He keeps going back, but also enjoys New York City and the blazing sun of Cancun… ahhh to be young again!

Rob joined Above Par in 2015 and prior to that he was a territory manager for a large furniture company. With great attention to detail, he works with homeowners during their projects and coordinates all aspects of the process from start to finish. With an exceptional eye for design he helps all his clients pick out materials that will give them the best aesthetic and offers suggests on improvements. When he’s not with his clients Rob is spending time with his daughter, fishing or traveling.
Diana Baumann, Office Coordinator
Diana has many years of office experience in the construction/trades industry and brings a fantastic understanding of what needs to get done to start the project. Diana is our go-to when it comes to licensing & permits for new projects, sending out warranties and answering the phone each and every time it rings. In her free time, Diana enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.
Kerri Nicketta, Office Administrator, Design Specialist & IL Licensed Real Estate Broker | 312-420-7283
Kerri oversees all administrative tasks, works with homeowners as a design consultant during their remodeling and renovation projects. In addition, she holds an active real estate license and is able to assist homeowners with any real estate needs whether they are buying or selling. When she’s not in the office or working with clients, you can find her skiing in Colorado with her family or on a beach somewhere with her friends.
